OVERVIEW

Zachery Roth advises insurance and corporate clients on commercial matters. He represents major property and casualty insurers in complex coverage matters involving environmental pollution, long-term exposure to hazardous substances and directors and officers liability. He also represents reinsurers and ceding companies in reinsurance disputes involving allocation, the follow the settlements doctrine and accumulation of claims.  

In addition, Zach assists technology and gaming clients in navigating the complex, rapidly developing body of laws and regulations governing online sports betting, i-gaming and daily fantasy sports in numerous states. He has successfully procured sports wagering and i-gaming licenses/registrations on behalf of vendors and suppliers in several states, including Pennsylvania, Michigan and New Jersey.   

While in law school, Zach served as Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review. As a staff editor on the law review, he wrote an article on the Detroit Bankruptcy that was selected for publication. In his third year of law school, he was invited to present this article to a faculty panel as part of Temple University’s Annual Student Symposium. In the summer of 2013, Zach served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas I. Vanaskie, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable M. Faith Angell, of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as part of Temple Law School’s Federal Judicial Clerkship Honors Clinical Program.
