Brian Gelnett is an associate in the Subrogation Department, who focuses on workers' compensation subrogation. Brian represents national workers' compensation carriers and injured workers in complex subrogation and personal injury cases involving product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, slips, trips and falls, worksite accidents and general negligence. Brian provides clients with comprehensive analysis and reliable recommendations to provide his clients with the advice necessary to make informed decisions with confidence.
Brian also helps insurance companies and employers understand and manage many issues involving work-related accidents and injury investigations by preparing and offering training presentations on workers' compensation subrogation issues and paths to recovery. Brian has also assisted the preparation of National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) presentations.
Brian worked full-time as a law clerk in the Workers' Compensation Subrogation Department at White and Williams for two years while attending evening classes at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Prior to his time at White and Williams, Brian represented criminal defendants unable to afford legal services during an internship with the Delaware County Public Defender's Office. Brian also interned for Pittsburgh City Councilman R. Daniel Lavelle while he obtained a political science degree at the University of Pittsburgh, a legal studies minor and completed the Emerging Leaders Program. He also earned Eagle Scout in 2008.
