OVERVIEW
Meagan is an associate in the general litigation practice at White and Williams LLP. She represents insurers against claims involving the denial of benefits and coverage disputes. She regularly handles matters involving nursing home litigation concerning resident care and professional negligence. She also defends claims filed pursuant to the Child Victims Act.
Prior to joining White and Williams LLP, Meagan was an assistant prosecutor for the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office. As an assistant prosecutor, Meagan litigated criminal matters both at the trial and appellate levels. She has conducted various testimonial hearings, argued motions in the Superior Court, as well as briefed and argued appeals before the Appellate Division. Before becoming an assistant prosecutor, Meagan clerked for Mary K. Costello, P.J.Ch. where she conducted research and prepared memoranda on complex issues of civil litigation and probate matters.
