OVERVIEW
Suzane Nazir is an Associate in the Health Care and Litigation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on defending complex civil litigation matters, including medical malpractice and general liability cases.
Before joining the firm, Suzane worked at a prominent New Jersey law firm, where she gained experience in complex litigation defense.
Suzane also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge R. Barclay Surrick of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and to the Honorable Judge Theresa Timlin at the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges. In these roles, she worked on various matters involving civil, criminal, labor, and securities law.
During law school, Suzane represented clients in child custody matters through Temple Law’s Litigation Clinic. She also served as a certified legal intern with the City of Philadelphia Law Department, where she represented the Medical Examiner in Mental Health Court.
Suzane developed her interest in public health through an internship with the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). There, she researched legal barriers to harm reduction for refugee and migrant communities and contributed to a policy guide for local health departments.
She also worked as a Summer Associate at a premier New Jersey law firm and as a Research Assistant to Professor Dr. Gilat Bachar, where she refined her research and writing skills.

Recognition & Involvement
At Temple University Beasley School of Law, Suzane served as a Staff Editor for Volume 38 of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. She was named to the Dean’s List and recognized as a Law and Public Policy Scholar, a Conwell Scholar, and a recipient of the Archer & Greiner Diversity Scholarship.
Upon graduation, Suzane received the Harriet Robinson Gillock Memorial Award for her outstanding service to the law school community. She also served as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure and Intellectual Property courses and participated in Temple Law’s Integrated Trial Advocacy Program, widely recognized for its rigorous litigation training.
Suzane has held various leadership roles throughout her academic career. During her undergraduate studies, she served as Senate President and received the Senate President Award in 2019. She was also inducted into the USF Order of the Golden Brahman.
Suzane developed an early interest in healthcare, which was recognized in 2018 when she received a Public Health Leadership award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services through HOSA–Future Health Professionals.
