PRACTICES
OVERVIEW
Raymond Iglesias is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on insurance coverage and general commercial disputes.
He brings particular experience with liability and excess coverage, representing insurers in high-stakes disputes where complex allocation and priority issues often define the outcome. Raymond advises carriers across a spectrum of policies, including CGL, D&O, E&O, and first-party property. Raymond has also handled matters arising from environmental contamination, benzene, PFAS, pharmaceutical claims, and professional liability exposures.
Before joining White and Williams, Raymond was an insurance coverage litigation associate at another international firm, where he gained significant experience in excess coverage matters. Raymond's practice extends to state and federal courts throughout New York and New Jersey, and he has prepared and participated in cases before the U.S. District Court of New Jersey, the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York, and the appellate divisions of both New York and New Jersey.
During law school, Raymond co-founded the First-Generation Professionals Group, served as Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the New York International Law Review, and published scholarship on cybersecurity and data privacy.
