OVERVIEW

Lesly Madera is an Associate in the Healthcare Practice Group who brings a diverse professional background to his legal practice. Lesly focuses on medical malpractice litigation and handles complex case research and trial preparation.  

During law school, Lesly gained valuable judicial and courtroom experience through a judicial externship with the Honorable Mary McGinley of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and interned with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. In addition, he served as a summer associate with a Pittsburgh-based defense firm, where he worked on general liability and workers' compensation matters.

Before embarking on a legal career, Lesly served in hotel management with a boutique hotel chain in New York City while earning his undergraduate degree from the New York City College of Technology. Early in his career, Lesly served as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Brooklyn, New York City, having earned an EMT-B certification.

Outside of his legal career, Lesly enjoys fitness and spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews.
