OVERVIEW
Alison Bennett is an associate in the Commercial Litigation practice at White and Williams. Since joining the firm, Alison has been actively engaged in employment litigation involving discrimination and retaliation claims, in trusts and estates disputes, and in insurance coverage matters involving complex litigation.
Prior to joining White and Williams, Alison served as a legal intern for the Clooney Foundation for Justice, working on The Docket Initiative, which investigates international crimes to trigger prosecutions, engages in legal advocacy, and amplifies the visibility of human rights violations.
She has also served as an extern at the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General in the Environment Section and as a summer intern for the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative.
Alison previously worked in the California Massage Therapy Council’s Background Review Department and Professional Standards Division and has held positions in education as a community college English instructor and in the journalism and publishing industries as a writer, reporter, editor, copy editor, fact-checker and researcher for Skyhorse Publishing, TrialGraphix, Business Wire, Hollywood Previews, Jump, Drug & Cosmetic Industry (DCI) and the Harlem Valley Times.
