Understanding Fire Through a Room and Contents Live Burn Event – Part 1

2023 NASP Spring Conference

Subrogation professionals handling fire losses should understand heat sources that cause ignition, heat transfer that allows fire spread, fuel loads, burn patterns, and the post-suppression collection and evaluation of physical evidence that takes place after suppression. Part one of this two-part program, using video from a room and contents fire started by a battery failure, will discuss each of these concepts along with the evidence that must be developed to successfully prove a fire loss claim against a third party.

This is Part 1 of a two-part series is presented by White and Williams Partner Chris Konzelmann. Co-Presenters are Jeff Fisher and Brad Davis with Envista Forensics.
