This course, presented by Randy Friedberg, Partner in the Intellectual Property Group, takes a tour through the maze of state trade secret laws, as well as the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act enacted in 2016. The lecture provides an overview of U.S. trade secret law, focusing on requirements for protection, proper and improper means of acquiring trade secrets, and protection of trade secrets.
