OVERVIEW

Adam Ortlieb has extensive experience defending doctors, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, other medical providers, and hospital systems in healthcare litigations matters and works as an associate in the Healthcare Group at White and Williams.

Prior to joining White and Williams, Adam defended medical malpractice matters as well as general liability and transportation litigation. He brings extensive experience in reviewing and analyzing medical records to identify the relevant medical issues in cases. He also has experience in motion practice in both federal and state courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Adam also previous clerked for the Joseph P. Quinn, the presiding civil judge in Monmouth County Superior Court of New Jersey.

Recognition & Involvement

While in law school, Adam served as the Associate Managing Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review, and his note Mandatory Victim Restitution Act: A Replacement for Victim’s Intentional Tort Claims for Violent Crimes in New Jersey was published as part of Volume 69 of the Rutgers University Law Review. Adam participated in an internship with the Camden Center for Law and Social Justice, where he worked to help victims of domestic violence obtain final restraining orders. In addition, he also assisted clients in completing the necessary paperwork for various immigrations services offered to those unable to afford private attorneys. Adam also served as a volunteer tax preparer through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program in both Philadelphia, PA and Camden, NJ.
