OVERVIEW

Rachel Costello is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. Rachel represents employers in a range of employment matters, including in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She has experience in a wide variety of employment matters, including cases involving wage and hour, misclassification, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, equal pay, family and medical leave and whistleblower claims.

Prior to joining White and Williams, Rachel worked as an Associate at a large nationwide civil litigation firm where her practice focused on employment law, professional liability, and general liability matters in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She began her career as a plaintiff’s attorney, where in addition to working on employment matters, she focused part of her practice on representing victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in civil litigation matters.

Rachel is a co-author of the LexisNexis practice guide Massachusetts Civil Litigation. The guide, published by Matthew Bender in 2025, provides analysis, strategic guidance, and essential forms for litigating civil matters in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
