Mr. Cottone is a partner in the Litigation Department.  He focuses on medical malpractice litigation, insurance fraud litigation and general liability matters. Mr. Cottone has significant litigation experience and been lead trial counsel in both State and Federal Court. 

Mr. Cottone received his B.A. from the University of Delaware in 1990 and his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in 1994, where he was elected to the Woolsack Honor Society.  Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Cottone is also admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association and Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel.  Mr. Cottone is also a Fellow of the Academy of Trial Advocacy.  In 2005 and 2006, he was named in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Rising Star" attorney by Law & Politics magazine.  Also, in 2007 and 2008, Mr. Cottone was selected as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine.
