White and Williams Remembers Rick Curtis and Steve Levy
White and Williams lost two members of its family - Rick Curtis and Steve Levy - to cancer. They passed within two weeks of one another.
Rick lost his battle with esophageal cancer on December 18, 2011. He practiced at the firm for 31 years and was a pioneer in his asbestos defense practice.
"Rick was a great partner, consummate professional and always a pleasure to be around," said Guy Cellucci, Managing Partner of White and Williams.
On January 7, 2012, Steve lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Steve joined White and Williams in 1984 and litigated cases on behalf of his clients including, product and chemical manufacturers, construction companies, pharmaceutical firms, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
"Steve was an extremely intelligent and gifted trial lawyer who loved to tackle complex issues," said John Balaguer, Managing Partner of White and Williams' Wilmington office, and close friend.
Rick and Steve will be greatly missed by their family, friends and colleagues.
