White and Williams Remembers Otis Erisman
White and Williams is saddened to share the loss of former Counsel and close friend, Otis W. Erisman.
Otis, whose legal career spanned over 60 years, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. He was dedicated to the law and continued to practice until the time of his passing.
He began his career at White and Williams in 1993, serving as Counsel in the Commercial Litigation department. He practiced with the firm for 16 years, until his departure in 2013.
“We have lost a true legend in the Philadelphia legal community," said Partner, Gary Biehn, who worked closely with Otis for almost 25 years. "Otis will be long remembered by his colleagues and loyal clients as a man of integrity and great intellect, but also for his practical advice. Otis served as a mentor and friend to many here at White and Williams and we will always be inspired by his professionalism, wit and spirit in which he approached the practice of law and life itself. It is an honor that Otis selected White and Williams as the final stop of his illustrious legal career.”
