White and Williams Collaborates With Terra Dotta, Yale University on Higher-Ed COVID-19 Management App
White and Williams LLP's Higher Education Group is proud to collaborate with Terra Dotta, a Chapel Hill, NC-based start-up focused on program management for universities, and Yale University's School of Medicine in the development and implementation of a new app designed to help colleges and universities manage COVID-19 pandemic issues as they seek to re-open campuses. White and Williams will provide legal guidance for Terra Dotta as they work to "help institutions develop safe practices as a shared responsibility among all members of the campus community."
The White and Williams Higher Education group regularly represents large public and private universities, as well as small independent colleges, to ensure that their unique needs are carefully and creatively addressed. We have deep experience in assessing and responding to student and faculty issues including tenure/promotion decisions, student discipline, harassment, sexual assault, misuse of technology, requests for accommodations, academic integrity and free speech. We also advise institutions on investigation procedures and remedial actions. Our ATIXA-certified civil rights investigation team has particular experience with Title IX compliance.
