White and Williams LLP Announces Lawyer Promotions
White and Williams is pleased to announce that Randy Friedberg and Rafael Vergara have been elected to the partnership and Robert Caplan and Alexandria Kane have been promoted to Counsel. These four dedicated lawyers have earned these new positions based on their contributions to the firm and their practices.
Randy Friedberg is a member of the Intellectual Property group in New York with more than 25 years experience in counseling clients, with particular focus on the protection, licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights. His practice encompasses trademark and copyright law, unfair competition, trade secrets, advertising law, internet law, and entertainment law, as well as general corporate and litigation matters.
Rafael Vergara is a member of the Life, Health, Disability and ERISA group in New York. Presently, he focuses on representing assisted living communities, nursing homes, and disability insurers in litigation in a wide range of areas, including advocacy in lawsuits involving first-party insurance claims, ERISA, insurance rescission, products liability, and premises liability.
Robert Caplan is a member of the Subrogation Department in Philadelphia and serves as the Workers’ Compensation Subrogation Team Leader. He has extensive experience recovering worker's compensation subrogation liens for insurance companies and large self insured companies in addition to litigating complex personal injury cases on behalf of injured workers.
Alexandria Kane is a member of the Corporate and Securities group in New York. She represents and advises investors and public and private companies in general corporate governance, business formations, capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions and securities law compliance.
