January 1, 2013

White and Williams is pleased to announce that Daniel Ferhat, Chunsheng (Tony) Lu and Justin Proper have been elected to the partnership.

“We are happy to have Dan, Tony and Justin join the partnership” said Guy Cellucci, Managing Partner of the firm. “The election of our new partners is a reflection of their dedication as well as the continued health of the firm.”

Dan is a member of the Litigation Department who focuses his practice on the defense of casualty litigation on behalf of health care institutions, physicians, and professionals as well as other business enterprises.

Tony is co-chair of the China Business Group and focuses his practice on corporate and business matters. His experience with domestic mergers and acquisitions, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and compliance, and general corporate governance has allowed Tony to focus on international business transactions as well. He regularly advises U.S. clients doing business in China and Chinese clients doing business in the U.S.  Previously a lawyer in China, Tony has an intimate understanding of China's legal and business environment and maintains close relationships with professionals working in both arenas.

Justin is a member of the General Commercial Litigation Group and handles all aspects of complex commercial litigation. Justin represents clients in cases involving allegations of patent infringement, unfair competition and antitrust violations, mortgage fraud, RICO violations, professional liability, securities fraud, defamation and breach of contract.
