Thomas Butler and Nicole Sullivan Join White and Williams in New York
White and Williams is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas Butler and Nicole Sullivan as Partners in the New York City office. Both Tom and Nicole will join the General Commercial Litigation and International Transactions and Disputes Practice Groups.

Tom represents national and international clients in complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation and business disputes and in compliance with various federal regulatory regimes. He brings significant experience handling all phases of dispute resolution, from preliminary discovery through trial and appeals in state and federal courts across the country as well as in a variety of arbitral institutions. Tom has been involved with high-profile multi-jurisdictional product liability, insurance fraud, merger and acquisition, and estate and trust-related issues. He works in close coordination with international counsel in a number of foreign jurisdictions and acts as outside general counsel for companies starting operations in the United States.
Nicole represents national and international clients in litigation, mediation and arbitration of complex commercial and business disputes. She advises clients on pre-litigation and early resolution of actions as well as e-discovery issues. Her experience includes assisting foreign and domestic companies with opening and operating businesses in the United States, routinely acting as outside general counsel for these entities, advising on transactional, intellectual property, contract, employment and other related issues. Nicole also handles multi-jurisdictional trust and estate litigation.
Both Tom and Nicole most recently practiced commercial litigation, with a focus on international matters, at LeClairRyan.
