Partners Jerrold Anders and William Schmidt, along with paralegal Linda Stein were awarded the Legal Services Recognition Award. Additionally, partners, I. Steven Levy and Wesley Payne, IV, were awarded the Adopt-A-Shelter Coordinator's Award for their tireless work providing free legal services to over 24,000 homeless men, women, and children in Philadelphia.

White and Williams has a long history of service to the local community. Attorneys and other professionals at the firm devote a substantial amount of time and resources to charitable and public interest causes. The firm strongly encourages its lawyers to render public interest legal services free of charge to individuals and non-profit groups in the region. Many of the firm's lawyers and para-professionals volunteer regularly to represent local citizens who cannot afford counsel in a variety of legal matters.
