Congratulations to our New Partners and Counsel
Two attorneys elected to partnership; one named counsel
Philadelphia - White and Williams LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas Pinney and Christine Russell have been admitted to the partnership at the firm. Additionally Robert Campbell was named as counsel.
These promotions occur in three of the firm's well-established and growing practice areas-Creditor's Rights, Reinsurance and Intellectual Property.
Tom is a member of the firm's Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group. He has substantial experience in documenting loans, litigating collection matters in both state and federal courts, and representing creditors and debtors in out-of-court workouts and bankruptcies. He has also represented mortgagees in more than 150 foreclosure actions in state and federal courts.
Tom received his B.A., with honors, from Ohio University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law.
Christine is a member of the firm's Reinsurance practice group. She has represented business clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters. Throughout her career, Christine's practice has been heavily concentrated in the areas of insurance and reinsurance, and is presently focused exclusively in the area of reinsurance. She has tried cases in court and arbitrated a broad array of reinsurance issues on behalf of both cedents and reinsurers. Christine has arbitrated at least 15 matters through full hearing, has handled innumerable others that were successfully resolved short of that, and is well-known and well-regarded in the reinsurance arbitration arena. She also regularly counsels clients on reinsurance issues and problems outside of a formal dispute resolution mode.
Christine received her B.A. from Ursinus College and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Widener University School of Law.
Bob is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property practice group. He has handled matters involving copyright, trademark, and trade dress infringement issues. In addition to his IP work, Bob has handled matters involving first-party insurance claims including bad faith claims, premises and personal liability claims, civil rights litigation, professional malpractice in both the insurance broker and real estate broker fields, and insurance coverage disputes. He has experience handling cases in all stages of litigation in state and federal court, from pre-suit dispute resolution through trial to appellate advocacy.
Bob received his B.B.A. from Tarleton State University and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School Camden.
