10.29.19

Robert Caplan will present at the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) Annual Conference. His program “Best Practices for Effective Communications Between Carriers and Counsel: An Industry Panel Discussion on the Relationships and Issues that Lead to Successful Lien Recoveries,” examines effective communication between adjusters and counsel that is essential to maximizing workers’ compensation subrogation lien recoveries. Attendees will benefit their companies and practices by “being on the inside” of industry discussions with panel members. From an insurance perspective, attendees will hear from adjusters on how they interact with counsel, insureds, agents, reinsurers and experts and how they deal with costs and recoveries and a myriad of different decision-making issues. From the legal perspective, attendees will learn how counsel identify theories of recovery, preserve evidence, choose experts and work with Subrogation Professionals on all aspects of the claim to ensure each the greatest potential for lien recoveries.

This presentation marks Robert’s 13th consecutive time presenting at the annual and Spring conferences. Robert has also served as a Track Leader for the Workers’ Compensation Track in multiple prior years.
