Sonia Balram is an associate who focuses on Real Estate and Finance transactions. Sonia relies on her strong educational background, international exposure and diverse work experience to effectively serve clients. Her prior collaboration with outside counsel while managing the business needs of the companies where she worked as in-house counsel provides her with a unique perspective on the client experience. When serving her clients, she believes effective communication is key.
Sonia has experience drafting and negotiating documents for a variety of transactions, including intercreditor agreements and commercial leases, along with conducting due diligence for real estate and finance transactions.
Outside of work she is an avid sports fan and enjoys attending games with her husband and friends in her local area.

Sonia graduated Cum Laude from Temple University, Beasley School of Law and was a recipient of the Elizabeth C. High Award when she graduated. She has a passion for Tax matters and has volunteered with VITA to complete tax returns for eligible participants. Currently, she is a pursuing a Tax LLM at Villanova University.
