OVERVIEW
Rob Pettigrew represents public and private sector employers and management in all aspects of employment litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He has experience handling matters related to restrictive covenants, orders to show cause, class actions, union organization/arbitration, harassment, retaliation, discrimination and wage and hour claims. In addition, Rob has extensive experience in defending facilities against claims involving accessibility violations and conducting accessibility compliance audits. He regularly represents clients in federal and state courts, including the New Jersey Supreme Court, as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, NLRB, OSHA, New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and New York Division of Human Rights.
Rob counsels employers on compliance with various federal, state and local employment laws, employee discipline, workplace training and internal investigations. He also drafts and reviews employment-related contracts, covenants, handbooks and workplace policies. Rob's experience spans various industries and governmental sectors, such as education, restaurant/hospitality, insurance, publishing, construction, security, law enforcement, trucking, healthcare, telecommunications and transportation.
