OVERVIEW
Nicole focuses her practice on the defense of commercial disputes and litigation matters for various businesses and industry groups, including corporations, commercial entities and insurance companies.
Before law school, Nicole worked as a paralegal at a law firm in New Jersey, representing financial institutions throughout various stages of the foreclosure process.
While in law school, Nicole served as a research assistant to her professor, researching anti-discrimination law, constitutional law and family law. Her research aided in the drafting of a casebook. She also worked as a legal assistant to a solo practitioner in New Jersey, assisting in the filing and drafting of interrogatories, complaints, answers and counterclaims.

While in law school, Nicole was a student attorney in the Education and Health Law Clinic, where she secured special education services for the children of the parents she represented. Nicole, along with her clinic colleague and supervising professor, represented amici in a class action lawsuit against the New Jersey Department of Education. Further, she served as Commentaries Editor for the Rutgers University Law Review.
Additionally, she volunteered as a mentor for the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey’s American Dream Pipeline Program, where she helped socioeconomically disadvantaged high school students apply to college. Nicole also volunteered as a teacher for Street Law, where she taught students in local Newark high schools about the law and government.
