PRACTICES
OVERVIEW
Katherine is an associate in the Healthcare group and represents a variety of healthcare clients, including physicians, nurses and hospitals, against professional liability claims.
Prior to joining White and Williams, Katherine represented major pharmaceutical and medical device companies in individual cases, mass tort proceedings, and multidistrict litigation in both federal and state court. Her products liability and mass tort experience has strengthened her abilities to efficiently analyze medical records, develop case strategies, draft motions, and understand complex legal issues.
While in law school, Katherine was a member of the Trial Advocacy Division. She also participated in a Medical-Legal Partnership between Georgetown University Law Center and Georgetown University School of Medicine and presented on how the legal and medical communities can work collaboratively to obtain civil protection orders for victims of domestic violence. As a junior associate, she applied these strategies when representing a client seeking a Protection From Abuse Order.
