OVERVIEW
Jose Butler represents commercial banks, savings banks, investment banks and other financial institutions in a variety of real estate funding transactions including the conduit lending aspect of mortgage backed securities. He handles all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of loan documents together with the review and preparation of due diligence materials.
Jose represents purchasers and sellers in the acquisition, disposition and finance of commercial real estate throughout the United States. He has experience with all phases of commercial real estate ownership and management including acquisition, financing, sale/leaseback, tax deferred exchanges, development, title, and landlord/tenant matters.

Jose was recognized on the New York State Bar Association Latin American Council's 40 Under 40 list in 2011. In law school, he was awarded the Geraldo Rivera Academic Scholarship Award and earned the CALI (Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction) Award for Excellence in Sports Law.

- Represents private and institutional lenders in the financing of numerous structured loan transactions secured by commercial real estate throughout the United States

- Represents private and publicly traded REIT’s in various joint ventures and sale/leaseback transactions
