Brandon R. Dillman is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice group in the firm’s Boston office who advises businesses, in-house counsel and executives on complex disputes, investigations and risk management. Known for his practical, business‑focused approach, Brandon helps clients assess exposure early, develop efficient strategies, and resolve matters in ways aligned with operational and reputational priorities. He works closely with in-house teams to manage litigation and navigate high‑stakes conflicts with clarity and steady judgment.

He frequently partners with technical experts to analyze email systems, mobile devices, social media accounts and financial data, enabling fact‑driven strategies in cases where electronic records are central. Clients value his ability to distill complex issues into clear guidance and to identify early, practical paths toward resolution while controlling cost and risk.

Brandon represents individuals and companies in commercial, intellectual property and fiduciary disputes, including matters involving contracts, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, unfair business practices, breach of fiduciary duty, and financial misconduct. His clients span financial institutions and pension plans, food suppliers, technology and software companies, consumer brands, medical device manufacturers, insurers and other closely held and institutional businesses.

He has substantial experience litigating in federal and state courts and in alternative dispute resolution forums, including first‑chair experience in international arbitration. Brandon has represented clients in federal courts across several states, as well as in multidistrict litigation in the Southern District of New York. He regularly appears in Massachusetts state courts and handles domestic and international arbitration and private mediation.

Brandon also advises clients in government and regulatory inquiries, including securities enforcement actions, tax investigations and cross‑border matters. In these matters, his work includes conducting witness interviews, reviewing electronic and financial records, and collaborating with experts on issues involving digital forensics, financial transactions, and complex business operations.
