Timothy represents major insurance companies in complex insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts. Timothy has significant experience prosecuting declaratory judgment actions, where necessary, and defending clients in those actions, including those involving allegations of bad faith. Timothy has secured verdicts for clients in bench trials in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, among other venues, and has briefed and argued appeals in Pennsylvania’s appellate courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Timothy also represents major life, health, and disability insurers in ERISA and non-ERISA litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute matters. In addition to maintaining a robust litigation practice, Timothy is routinely called upon to advise clients and provide coverage opinions in sophisticated insurance-related matters.

While in law school, Timothy worked full-time as a law clerk at White and Williams LLP and served as an editor of the Temple Journal of Science, Technology & Environmental Law. At graduation, Timothy was awarded the Sender and Janina Szwalbenest Memorial Award for rendering outstanding service to the law school and community.

Before becoming an attorney, Timothy served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Gao, a Sahelian city situated along the Niger River in the Republic of Mali, near Timbuktu.
