Timothy is an experienced litigator who represents insurance companies in commercial disputes involving coverage, bad faith, and extra-contractual liability, among other matters.
Timothy was previously an associate at White and Williams from 2014 to 2015. During that time, he primarily conducted legal research, prepared briefs and other court papers, and assisted clients in developing creative and cost-effective solutions to complex insurance-related disputes. He also successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, defending his client’s judgment in an insurance-related matter involving statutory and procedural issues.
Before rejoining the firm in 2017, Timothy practiced as a general litigation associate at a Philadelphia-based law firm, where he defended companies and individuals in matters involving product liability, professional malpractice, sexual abuse, and civil rights. In that role, Timothy gained wide-ranging experience conducting and defending depositions, arguing discovery and dispositive motions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey courts, and preparing matters for trial and mediation. He also secured verdicts for clients in several bench trials in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, among other venues.
In law school, Timothy served as an editor of the Temple Journal of Science, Technology & Environmental Law. At graduation, he was awarded the Sender and Janina Szwalbenest Memorial Award for rendering outstanding service to the law school community.
Before entering the legal profession, Timothy served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Gao, a Sahelian city situated along the Niger River in the Republic of Mali, near Timbuktu.
