Tarik is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group and the International Practice Group. He focuses his practice on the representation of international and domestic, publicly traded and privately held companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, private equity and venture capital transactions, securities regulation, corporate governance matters and commercial transactions.

Prior to attending law school, Tarik became licensed as a certified public accountant (CPA) while working as an auditor at a big four public accounting firm and an accountant at a publicly traded company. His accounting experience brings a unique perspective to his practice that allows him to speak the language of his clients.

While in law school, Tarik interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Villanova’s Federal Tax Clinic. He also served as a teaching assistant for Villanova’s Legal Writing Program and an associate editor of Villanova’s Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal.

Before joining White and Williams, Tarik worked as in-house counsel in the Business & Finance Group at PNC Bank where he focused on syndicated cash flow and asset-based financing transactions. He also worked as an associate at a law firm in Philadelphia where he practiced corporate and securities law.
