Rachel Schneidman focuses her practice on commercial real estate financing, including the origination of mortgage loans and modifications. Rachel is involved in the due diligence, drafting of loan documents and closings. In her practice, Rachel represents prominent national and regional lending institutions, and national insurance companies.
Prior to joining White and Williams, Rachel worked at a boutique commercial real estate firm where she was primarily responsible for all aspects of the origination of real estate loans.
While in law school, Rachel was the Business Manager of the Journal of Law and Policy. She also participated in the Brooklyn Law Corporate and Real Estate Clinic, where she represented low-income housing cooperatives in loan closing preparations and negotiations with the Attorney General’s office. In law school, Rachel was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Rachel received the Brooklyn Law School Silver Pro Bono Award.
Representative Matters
- Represented a regional financial institution in a $31 million mortgage loan of a mixed-use property in New York, New York
- Represented an institutional lender in a $38 million mortgage loan of a multi-family property located in Brooklyn, New York
- Represented a lending institution in a $5 million construction loan in Greenwich, Connecticut
