Ryan Smith is an associate in the Subrogation Department and practices exclusively in the field of workers’ compensation subrogation. He represents insurance carriers and individuals in cases involving defective products, motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, and general negligence. Ryan works on cases throughout the United States using the services of local counsel under a special program of the Subrogation Department. His clients rely on his clear and concise analysis and advice in deciding how to best protect their complex interests.
While attending law school, Ryan was a full-time law clerk in White and Williams’ Subrogation Department. He participated in Temple Law’s nationally-recognized Integrated Trial Advocacy Program with distinction for outstanding oral advocacy and distinguished performance. He also earned the school’s Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation.
Prior to joining White and Williams, Ryan worked as a full-time paralegal in a small general practice firm focusing on insurance defense and personal injury plaintiff’s cases.

Negotiated six-figure settlement for workers’ compensation carrier at mediation for lawsuit pending in Texas involving complex trucking and construction accident
Represents workers’ compensation carriers pursuing recoveries through Arbitration Forums, Inc. from signatory adverse carriers
