Monica Nugent’s practice focuses on representing commercial construction companies, product manufacturers and premises owners in a variety of matters throughout all stages of litigation. Monica brings a remarkable work ethic and a detail-oriented approach to all of her representative matters.
Prior to attending law school, Monica worked as a paralegal in an international law firm, supporting both patent litigation and securities litigation practice groups, during which time she gained significant trial experience before district courts across the United States.
While in law school, Monica was named a Law & Public Policy Scholar and a Weisman Fellow. Furthering her interest in litigation, she also participated in Temple University’s Integrated Trial Advocacy Program.
Prior to joining White and Williams, Monica clerked for the Honorable Thomas C. Miller in the Superior Court of New Jersey for the 2017-2018 term.
Recognition & Involvement
While in law school, Monica was an associate in the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society, where she was recognized for her extracurricular commitment to public service. Monica was also a Dean’s List recipient and received multiple annotations for distinguished participation throughout her study.
