Mariam Khoudari advises clients facing financial challenges, providing them with a variety of restructuring solutions, from complex business transactions to chapter 11 reorganizations. Mariam focuses on each client’s specific needs to develop a unique strategy with the goal of preserving the client’s business and its relationships.

Prior to joining White and Williams, Mariam served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Ashely M. Chan of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she gained extensive experience in all stages of bankruptcy litigation.

Recognition & Involvement

While in law school, Mariam served as vice-president of Temple University’s Tax and Bankruptcy Law Society, and as events chair of the Women’s Law Caucus. Mariam was a Beasley Scholar, Dean’s List recipient and received multiple annotations in her study for distinguished participation. Mariam volunteered for the University of Pennsylvania Transnational Legal Clinic, where she interpreted among French, Arabic and English for immigration officers and law student representatives to conduct client interviews and explain substantive immigration law to clients. Mariam was also a student advocate in the Employment Advocacy Project with Philadelphia Legal Assistance, where she interviewed and represented clients at administrative hearings. She also assisted with appeals to the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review.
