Jake Etienne represents both individual and commercial clients in a variety of complex insurance coverage, bad faith, and commercial litigation matters.

Additionally, Jake assists technology and gaming clients in navigating the increasingly prevalent and rapidly developing legislation surrounding online sports betting, i-gaming, and daily fantasy sports. He prides himself on keeping up to date with any legislation affecting these industries that is introduced across the country, in order to best serve his clients.

Jake brings a relentless work ethic that puts his clients first, working towards the best possible outcomes for them.

Recognition & Involvement

While in law school, Jake was involved in a number of different organizations. He served as president of Street Law for two years, a student-led organization that visited inner-city schools in Philadelphia and taught them their constitutional rights. Additionally, he was a fellow for the Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law, where he helped in the writing of a textbook and was a contributor to the Brandt Report – an inside look at how the legalization of sports betting is changing sports. He spent his final semester of law school working as a certified legal intern in the Health Law Clinic, where he helped clients obtain health insurance and social security benefits.

Additionally, he was among the 2020 recipients of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Eve Biskind Klothen Law Student Award for his pro bono involvement.
