His practice has involved a wide-range of medical specialties, including bariatric surgery, pain management, and emergency medicine. Ed has secured numerous defense verdicts at trial and arbitration of these claims.

Ed also frequently provides guidance to his litigation clients concerning claims of indemnification. Ed’s experience in these areas extends to handling appeals of such matters in federal and state appellate courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Ed is a frequent speaker at national conferences on litigation issues in healthcare. He has also written and developed articles and presentations on emerging issues in medical malpractice, such as the increased relevance of electronic medical records in the context of civil litigation. Recently, Ed has presented to medical residents about the elements of medical malpractice claims and related developments, trends and strategies to deal with claims.
