Duncan Becker focuses his practice on general defense litigation in state and federal courts in a variety of areas, including representing commercial construction companies and other individuals and entities. Duncan brings a detail and solutions-oriented approach to all of his representative matters aimed at effectuating a favorable result for his clients.
Prior to joining White and Williams, Duncan clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Lynne A. Sitarski of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where he gained extensive experience in all stages of litigation during his two-year clerkship. While in law school, Duncan worked for Justice Sallie Updyke Mundy of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Honorable Anne E. Lazarus of the Pennsylvania Superior Court, where he gained significant experience in the practices and procedures of Pennsylvania appellate courts. Duncan also worked for the Honorable Michael M. Baylson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania while in law school. His experience at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court brings a unique perspective to his representative matters for his clients.
Recognition & Involvement
While in law school, Duncan served as a Staff Editor and subsequently Research Editor for the Editorial Board of the Temple Law Review. Duncan was a Beasley Scholar, Dean’s List recipient, and received multiple annotations in his study for distinguished participation, outstanding oral advocacy, and also received annotations for best exams in courses including Antitrust and Evidence. Duncan graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif upon graduation.
