Bernadette Silver is an associate in the Litigation Department, where she focuses her practice on general liability matters.
Prior to law school, Bernadette worked as a litigation paralegal in the firm's General Litigation group. Her work included the review and analysis of medical records, legal research and motion practice, assisting with mediation, arbitration and trial preparation and developing case strategies.
While in law school, Bernadette served as Managing Editor of Technology for the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal, editing and publishing over 26 blog posts for the journal. She also served as Co-Chair for the Student Academic Advisory Committee, and as a Student Research Assistant for several Villanova Law professors and projects, including the COVID-19 Legal Research Project, created by Mark C. Alexander, The Arthur J. Kania Dean of the Charles Widger School of Law.
Bernadette also served as a Student Attorney for the Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic, where she conducted legal research, drafted legislative reports, and collaborated with clients, colleagues and supervisors to achieve legal status and protections for clinic clients. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable J. Curtis Joyner of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Recognition & Involvement
During college, Bernadette worked as a Penn State Football Recruiting Intern. Bernadette also worked as a producer and reporter for the Centre County Report. She was awarded Best All-Around Television Newscast by the Society of Professional Journalist and nominated for a 2015 Emmy for work produced on the collegiate level.
