Aris Rotella focuses his practice general civil litigation matters with a background in medical malpractice, aging services and long-term care litigation.
Before joining White and Williams, Aris served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Marilyn C. Clark, the presiding judge of the criminal division in Passaic County, New Jersey, where he assisted with research, drafting decision and sentencing statements, as well as organizing the trial calendar and working with attorneys to keep case flow running smoothly and efficiently. In this position he also assisted in all aspects of trial from jury selection to verdict.
During law school, Aris was Managing Director of the Law Advocacy Board and he received the John Bartels Trial Advocacy award at graduation. In addition, he also received the Best Cross Examination Award at Golden Gate University’s National Mock Trial Competition and was recognized as a two-time Best Oralist at the Northeastern Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
He also earned two undergraduate degrees, double majoring in political science and history with a pre-law concentration. During his undergraduate career, he was elected President of the Student Body, where he oversaw governance matters relating to the complete student body and oversaw a budget of $400,000. Prior to his election as Student Body President, he served for three terms on the University Governance Counsel and Student Senate.
Recognition & Involvement
Aris is a member of the Passaic County Bar Association Board of Trustees and works to remain involved in legal education. He is always willing to assist in coaching and judging mock-trial competitions in both New York and New Jersey. He is also an active member in the Passaic County Inns of Court.
