Alberto focuses his practice on assisting clients with advanced business needs. Leveraging his business experience and education, Alberto provides holistic solutions for his clients’ ever more complex challenges.
Prior to law school, Alberto worked in public education in Philadelphia. He participated in the Teach for America program where he initially taught Spanish to a wide-range of students at a charter school in north Philadelphia. He then got the opportunity to step out of the classroom and serve as the school’s Business Manager and Director of Operations where he oversaw a wide-range of functions including procurement, reporting and governance. There he experienced from a client’s perspective just how crucial sound legal advice is.
During school, Alberto was an intern for the Office of the General Counsel of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, and for the Office of the State Inspector General in Philadelphia.
Recognition & Involvement
As a graduate of the Carey JD/MBA program, Alberto remained involved across both schools. At the law school, he served as the Treasurer for the Latinx Law Student Association and as a member of the Law School Orientation Committee. He was an associate editor and the technology editor for Penn Law’s Journal of Business Law. At Wharton, Alberto was a Lipman Family Prize Fellow in the McNulty Leadership Program. He also served as a teaching and research assistant to Corporate Ethics Professor Diana C. Robertson.
