Employment Law Trial Team Defeats Race Retaliation Claim in Federal Court

5.25.17

After a five-day trial, the White and Williams employment law trial team successfully defeated a race retaliation case brought in federal court. The employee claimed he was terminated after complaining about racial harassment in the workplace and filing a Charge of Discrimination with the EEOC

On behalf of the employer, White and Williams presented witnesses and exhibits that resulted in an unanimous jury verdict determining that the employee was not terminated from his employment because he objected to racial comments in the workplace or because of his complaint of discrimination to the EEOC.

The trial team was led by Nancy Conrad and George Morrison, and supported by Alicia Emili, Kim Havener and Vince Barbera.
