White and Williams Represents Progress Physical Therapy In Multimillion Dollar Sale To Ivy Rehab
White and Williams represented Progress Physical Therapy, which specializes in treating sports- and work-related injuries, in its multimillion dollar sale to Ivy Rehab, a rapidly growing network of more than 175 best-in-class outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinics in the Northeast (CT, NJ, NY, PA), the Midwest (IL, IN, MI), and the Southeast (NC, SC, VA). The sale allows Progress Physical Therapy’s three owners to now focus on other opportunities and gives Ivy Rehab 13 new state-of-the-art physical therapy clinics in the metropolitan Philadelphia area. In addition to the new clinics, the Progress Physical Therapy team will bring Ivy Rehab one-on-one care and personalized recovery programs designed to improve functional limitations and restore quality of life.
The sale was led by Corporate partner Ryan Udell, with assistance from Corporate associates Gwenn Barney, Pat Devine and Jeremy Miller. A cross-practice, multi-office team also helped with the transaction, including partner Rick Borden for data privacy, partner John Eagan and counsel Kevin Koscil for tax, partner Bill Hussey for employee benefits, partner Rosemary Schnall for healthcare, partner Tom Pinney for lien release and lease assignment and assumption issues, counsel Harrison Kaufman for real estate, partner Alex Kane for securities issues, counsel Tanya Salgado for labor and employment, partner Randy Friedberg for intellectual property issues and partner Marc Casarino for corporate governance issues.
