iNovia Capital Leads Series B Financing Round for Boosted, Inc.
iNovia Capital co-led a round of Series B financing for Boosted, Inc., a leading provider of last-mile electric vehicles and best known for the Boosted Board, a high-performance electric skateboard used as a commuter vehicle in 34 countries. The Series B financing raised $60 million, bringing total funding to more than $70 million. Patrick Pichette, former Google CFO and current partner at iNovia Capital, will move from his existing independent board position to a preferred board seat.
Boosted plans to use the new financing to further explore global expansion and introduce multiple new vehicles that will leverage its signature, superior light electric vehicle performance. The company’s newest product, Boosted Mini, was recently Time Magazine as one of the “Top Inventions of 2018”.
