Coverage College 2011® Brings Over 500 Students Together for Fifth Annual Insurance Industry Event
White and Williams Coverage College® – now in its fifth year – had a record turnout Thursday, October 6, 2011 when over 500 “students” representing over 150 companies and 19 states attended the annual, daylong educational program.
The event – regarded as one of the premier insurance industry education programs on the East Coast – was held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and offered insurance claim professionals an opportunity to engage in rigorous study of a diverse insurance coverage curriculum. A faculty of over 30 White and Williams attorneys covered topics including commercial general liability policies, environmental coverage issues, directors and officers coverage, insurance coverage issues related to Marcellus Shale and much more. A total of 16 classes were offered that day.
Students also had an opportunity to meet and network with 12 exhibiting companies who signed on as sponsors for this year’s College. The students’ day concluded with a networking reception.
