Tony Salvino Chaired the Fourth Annual Catholic Charities Gala in Allentown
Tony Salvino of the Lehigh Valley Office and his wife, Pam, were the Chairpersons of the Fourth Annual Catholic Charities Gala held Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Holiday Inn, Fogelsville. The Rev., Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D., Archbishop of Louisville, Ky., and a former priest of the Diocese of Allentown was honored for his outstanding leadership and ministry in the Catholic Charities. Recently elected Vice President of the US Conference of Bishops, Archbishop Kurtz is nationally recognized for his advocacy for the poor and vulnerable. The event raised over $100,000 for Catholic Charities programs for the Diocese of Allentown, which provides various services regardless of religious affiliation. Read more about the event.
