Over Four Hundred Students Graduate From Fourth Annual White and Williams Coverage College®
Annual Insurance Industry Event Offered Continuing Education and Networking
Philadelphia - Over four hundred "students" representing 115 companies and 15 states received their diplomas at the White and Williams 2010 Coverage College®. This annual, daylong educational program, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, offered insurance claim professionals an opportunity to engage in intensive study of a diverse insurance coverage curriculum. This is the fourth year for the College, which is now regarded as one of the premier insurance industry education programs on the East coast.
On September 30, 2010, a faculty of over 30 White and Williams attorneys covered topics including coverage litigation, long-tail claims, construction defect claims, and emerging coverage issues for violation of privacy. New this year, members of the D&O Practice Group, who joined the firm in May, provided insights into directors and officers coverage. A total of 18 classes were offered that day.
Students also had an opportunity to meet and network with a dozen exhibiting companies who signed on as sponsors for this year's College.
