Stephanie Kobal has experience in a wide range of commercial and insurance litigation and general corporate matters. Her practice brings her to a variety of state and federal courts across the Commonwealth where she assists clients with condemnation proceedings, land development projects, landlord-tenant actions, slip and fall matters and insurance defense claims.
Prior to joining White and Williams, Stephanie was an associate with an Allentown, Pennsylvania law firm where she represented corporate, municipal and individual clients with matters ranging from land development to commercial foreclosure work and municipal litigation matters. Stephanie also served as a law clerk for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, assisting with unemployment compensation appeals, and prevailing wage and Americans with Disabilities Act claims.
While in law school, Stephanie was the Executive Managing Editor of the school’s Law Review, the Widener Law Journal, and was a delegate to the National Conference of Law Reviews. She was also the recipient of a Merit Award for her course work in Supreme Court Politics.
Representative Matters
- Worked as part of a team representing a healthcare system in an appeal pending before the Commonwealth Court regarding an award of damages in an eminent domain matter
- Assisted with obtaining a favorable holding for a municipal government involving a denial of a land development project before the Commonwealth Court
- Represented various commercial lending institutions in commercial foreclosures in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Represented a commercial landlord in matter involving a tenant breach of lease covenants
Recognition & Involvement
In 2011, Stephanie was named as one of the “Top 20 Under 40” by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal. She is also a 2011 graduate of the Leadership Lehigh Valley program, which prepares business leaders to serve their communities via membership on non-profit board of directors.
Stephanie serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Parkland Aquatic Club.
