Shari Pressman concentrates her practice on helping clients with general business and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, intellectual property and business formation and planning. Her clients are middle market companies with revenues that range from $5 million – $500 million.
Shari is actively involved with Athena PowerLink NAWBO, a business mentoring program designed to increase the growth and profitability of women-owned businesses, where she is currently serving on an advisory panel for a small telemarketing company.
Before practicing law, Shari was a strategy consultant with Accenture for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Products industry. She analyzed business practices and made strategic recommendations to help large pharmaceutical companies increase profitability.
While in law school, Shari served as Managing Editor of Special Projects for the Villanova Law Review. In this position, Shari was responsible for managing the summer writing competition. Shari also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Timothy J. Savage of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as an intern in the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

- Represented management in the purchase of business from principal shareholder
- Represented distributor of indoor and outdoor space heating equipment in the sale of its business
- Represented a multinational automotive supply company in the sale of its business to a Hong Kong based private equity firm
- Represented a multinational automotive supply company in the sale of its leather wrapping division to Johnson Controls.
- Represented pharmaceutical company in initial $30 million capital raise, and then subsequent $8 million capital raise, sale of convertible promissory notes and warrants to investors
- Represented distributor of electronics in acquisition of a competitor’s business
- Represented lender in complex lending transaction with a private jet company
- Assisted developer of high speed automation processes, material handling solutions and systems design company in procuring and maintaining its intellectual property portfolio
- Assisted global training and development company in procuring and maintaining its intellectual property
- Assisted and advised local retail establishment in alleged trademark infringement of international handbag designer
- Assisted national dental care provider in developing and implementing trademark strategy
- Assisted client in negotiating a favorable settlement with the Business Software Alliance
- Assisted world’s largest creative competitions firm in procuring and maintaining its intellectual property portfolio
- Assisted a worldwide staffing solutions company specializing in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries in procuring, maintaining and policing its intellectual property
- Assisted a leader in the portable heating and cooling market in procuring, maintaining and policing its intellectual property
