Maulin Vidwans has nearly 20 years of experience in corporate finance, real estate and business transactions.  His clients include national, regional and local commercial banks, finance companies and real estate developers.  He has handled a variety of complex commercial and real estate finance transactions, involving leveraged buy-outs and roll-up financings, cash flow and asset based financing, second lien and mezzanine financing, acquisition financing, construction and development financing, and workout and restructuring of troubled loans. 

A portion of Maulin’s practice also involves the structuring and financing of golf, resort and timeshare projects throughout the country, including the acquisition, construction and development and receivables financing for those projects.

Maulin is generally involved in all aspects of these transactions, including due diligence,  structuring, negotiation and documentation and closing and, when necessary, the restructure and work-out of problem deals.

Maulin has lectured extensively on commercial finance and real estate issues, including secured transactions, resort real estate financing and the drafting and negotiating of commercial loan documents.

Representative Matters

• Represented lender group in large syndicated financing of coal company involving inventory and receivables financing, real estate and equipment term loan financing, and subordinated financing
• Represented lender in inventory and receivables based financing for ventilation company, including subsequent workout and full payoff after default
• Represented lender on construction and receivables loan financing for multi-location deeded interest timeshare projects in Florida, Nevada and Virginia  

Recognition & Involvement

Maulin has been AV® rated by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system.  In 2005, he also named in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Rising Star" attorney by Law & Politics magazine.

Maulin was recently elected as a Trustee of the Walnut Street Theatre, the oldest operating theatre in America.
