Kathryn McCluskey Associate

Kathryn McCluskey is an associate in the Litigation Department and member of the Healthcare Group. She draws upon her 15+ years as a physician assistant as she focuses her practice on the defense of medical malpractice claims against physicians, mid-level providers, nursing home and hospitals.

Prior to joining White and Williams, Kathryn maintained her own law practice focusing on health and elder law. Since 1998, she has been employed in various roles with Drexel University – Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program, where she continues to serve as part-time adjunct faculty. Kathryn has been Associate Director of Information Technology, an Assistant Professor and Instructor.  Before that, Kathryn worked in several local hospitals as a Physician Assistant in various departments, including the Short Procedure Unit, Neurosurgery and Emergency Medicine. All of this experience provides Kathryn with a unique understanding of health law and medical malpractice defense issues. She retains her physician assistant certification and licensure in Pennsylvania.  

Recognition & Involvement

Kathryn has volunteered for the Wills for Heroes Foundation, which provides essential legal documents free of charge to the nation's first responders. She also serves as a mock trial juror for the Chester County Bar Association.

Kathryn also serves as the Liaison to the Governor's Office of Health Care Reform through her affiliation with the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.
