Karon Martin is a partner in the Subrogation Department and practices exclusively in the field of insurance subrogation. She has experience litigating products liability, warehouseman's liability, construction defect, negligence, warranty and breach of contract claims in state and federal courts in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South and Midwest. Karon practices throughout the United States using the services of local counsel under a special program of the Subrogation Department.
Karon successfully handled the litigation of the 1995 fire that destroyed the World of Primates facility and caused the death of 23 rare primates at the Philadelphia Zoo. She has successfully litigated numerous large commercial and residential losses, including, the crash of a passenger jet into a warehouse at the Teterboro Airport in New Jersey; a fire that destroyed a two story medical center in Georgia; and a fire that destroyed a restaurant in Florida.
Karon has been an author and speaker on various topics for publications and forums focused on subrogation.
Recognition & Involvement
Karon was selected in a survey of her peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine in 2005, 2006 and 2007. She has been AVĀ® rated by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system.
